Outside, make the most of the good weather in the large, enclosed garden with its hot tub, BBQ and outdoor seating, as well as a funky outdoor cabin with a foldaway bed which kids and adults alike will be equally thrilled by.
You could easily spend your days exploring the fascinating farm on which the property sits, touring the land with the owner and enjoying picnics by the lake, with the local pub just 2 miles away for a special treat. Newtown (3 miles) is a lovely town to visit to stock up on local produce and find a spot for lunch. Further afield, visit Powis Castle and Gardens (17 miles), a Grade I-listed mediaeval property with a fascinating history where you can spend a day strolling through the landscaped grounds absorbing the natural beauty, sights and scents before stopping off for tea and a slice of cake in the cafe.
