Get social in the open-plan living space where you can sit in the window seat with a good book and make the most of the pretty views out of the window. Sit up at the breakfast bar whilst another family member does the cooking in the tranquil blue kitchen and when it’s time to eat, gather around the country-style dining table to share stories and make plans for the day ahead. The living room is a cosy and welcoming room with snug sofas beside an original wood burner, as well as a Smart TV for entertainment. Upstairs, the first of the bedrooms is a bright and airy room with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom and access to the balcony where morning coffees can be sipped as you gaze out to the rolling hills. The final two bedrooms feature a boho chic double bedroom and a queen room which is great for children, both of which share access to the wood-clad pastel pink family shower room. Step out into the garden and you’ll find panoramic views of the green scenery beyond where you can enjoy a drink or cook dinner on the charcoal BBQ. What’s more, there is a private enclosed paddock where dogs can run free and stretch their legs on the days when you wish to remain closer to home.

Explore the varied terrain of the Radnor Hills with its ancient woodland, rolling moorlands and steep, narrow valleys where you’ll be charmed by the calls of the creatures which inhabit the area. Take a step back and embrace a slower pace of life on a visit to Kington where you’ll find fantastic local food and a selection of shops to peruse throughout the day. Find peace beside the water of Llandrindod Reservoir with a picnic, or glide across the water in a canoe to soak up the natural beauty of the surrounding scenery.

This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely rural location, with great views. It is reached up a farm track and over a ford (so beware with low vehicles). It is very tastefully decorated and very comfortably furnished. We spent a long weekend there in early November and with the underfloor heating it was very cosy. There is a great log burner as well. Read moreGreat area for walks as well, albeit a bit boggy when we were there. Nicely located for trips around the area and a great pub nearby in Old Radnor. Hide

Wow, what a wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Woodside Cottage. The remote and secluded location was perfect for us and it was a joy to wake up to the cows and little lambs every morning :-) The accommodation was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We highly recommend and hope to visit again.

A beautiful property with stunning views. Very tranquil and relaxing, especially when youre watching the little lambs frolic in the field. As a family of four with two teenagers, it was a joy to see them put down their devices and enjoy the outdoors.
