It’s part of a 250-acre organic farm, with spectacular views all around, and around 4 miles away from a pub and shop in the sweet village of Llanllwni. Up to five dogs are welcome to join you for a stay at this pretty accommodation – they’ll love leading the way on walks in the nearby Brechfa Forest (4.5 miles), an ancient site with trails and picnic areas for you to enjoy.
On arrival at this attractive white building, you’ll first notice the sun-filled conservatory, where sipping tea while absorbing in the surrounding views is a true pleasure. Adjacent to this, you’ll have a good-sized galley kitchen with a breakfast bar running along one side. The lounge and dining area are designed for comfort, boasting a large corner sofa, a Smart TV and a wood burner housed within a charming stone fireplace. The decor throughout is bright and cheerful, with light shades and the odd pop of colour. Outside, the enclosed dog area presents a wonderful spot for four-legged guests to bound around while the humans relax at the picnic table and keep warm around the fire pit.
In the local area, hiking, horse riding and mountain biking opportunities abound, as well as wild swimming in the Afon Blotweth river (3 miles) if you’re feeling bold! Llanllwni Mountain (4 miles) is a designated dark sky area – head there when the moon is dark for an outstanding stargazing experience. Keen for a coastal trip? Drive a little further to the lovely Cardigan Bay to explore seaside locations like Llangrannog (21 miles) and New Quay (20.5 miles).
