The Old Vicarage

Black Mountains & Brecon Beacons
This is a great family holiday cottage, large and comfortable with room for up to 17, there is plenty of room at The Old Vicarage for two or three families to enjoy a holiday together, or just to spread out and make yourself really comfortable.

With a lovely south facing, pink painted frontage and historic old Welsh stone rear, The Old Vicarage originally dates from the 1740’s. It is elegant, yet really comfortable inside, with some lovely stylish touches.

From the soft linen throws, Cath Kidston table cloths, warming Aga and open fire, to the large flat screen television, indoor football table, trampoline and tree house, there is something to keep every member of the family entertained throughout your holiday!

Step out of the back door straight on to the track up the Sugar Loaf Mountain, where in less than an hour of not-too-arduous walking or cycling, you will be rewarded with the most spectacular views – a 360 degree panorama of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons and an aerial view of Abergavenny. Alternatively, turn right down the hill and end up in the Dragon's Head pub in less than five minutes!

The supermarket van regularly delivers to the nearby village, so you can book your groceries online before leaving home for delivery on arrival. The Old Vicarage is just five miles outside of the market town of Abergavenny, so it is a quick 10 minutes to stock up yourself!

Children and pets are very welcome here and they will have plenty of fun exploring the woods nearby and discovering Larry's tree house.
