Willow Cottage
Perched high on Llangattock Hillside, this romantic holiday cottage is just above the villages of Crickhowell and Llangattock (with five pubs between them!) in the Brecon Beacons National Park, making it perfectly placed for fabulous walks, a trip to the pub, a bit of shopping or just stocking up on delicious local produce before heading up the hill.
Nestled beside a sensitive barn conversion with extensive grounds, this cottage has been beautifully decorated inside. Every soft furnishing has been tastefully covered in a range of fabrics designed by the owner, who happens to be a local fabric designer.
A romantic theme runs through the property, from the hearts in the bedroom to the key holder in the kitchen. A pretty sitting room forms part of the light flooded open plan living space, with well equipped kitchen, dining table for two, plus television and DVD player for those quiet evenings in. As you can see from our model, a pet dog is quite welcome here too!
The bedroom has sumptuous silk drapes around the king size bed and great views from the pillow! Next door you can find a jacuzzi bath and soft fluffy towels. It would be all too easy to shut yourselves away for a weekend or two.
Outside there is a private, sheltered terrace area, which catches the sun throughout the day. There is also a barbeque and outdoor furniture, all close by to a pretty willow tree...of course!
