"The cottage was amazing. The location was amazing and the scenery was sublime"
Matt & Friends
"Just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic week in what has to be one of the loveliest cottages we've stayed in.
We have all thoroughly enjoyed being in the middle of nowhere and had a great time walking straight from the door.
We are now back home with a few aching limbs but feeling like we've had a great holiday." Terri & Martin

Llanthony Cottage
It’s very easy to tuck yourself away here for a week or so, enjoy the heat of the wood burning stove and Rayburn, listen to the birdsong, or marvel at the amazing night sky. You leave light pollution and street noise behind, in exchange for breathtaking walks and total relaxation.
The cottage has been tastefully preserved and updated making it both cosy on the inside and very beautiful on the out. Step in to the porch, perfect for stashing muddy boots and drying off dogs, then through to the farm house kitchen, which is fully equipped, plus has the lovely addition of an oil fired Rayburn.
A farm house table in the kitchen is perfect for meals and the owner always ensures there is a welcome pack of local goodies waiting for you on arrival. The sitting room is bright and airy, with large french windows looking straight out onto the garden and surrounding hills. There is a huge wood burner and a plentiful supply of logs to keep the evening chill off too.
There is a downstairs cloakroom, then it's off up the stairs to a large romantic bedroom with great views from the windows, an en-suite shower and basin and every reason to lie in bed and laze away a few hours in the morning! There is a good sized twin bedroom next door and a bright, separate bathroom with all your towels included.
From the pretty garden you can walk straight out and up on to the ridge line where you can see both England and Wales or go further field and walk along Offa’s Dyke, the border between the two.
Llanthony Cottage is in one of the best locations for a walking holiday in Wales, a remote, romantic escape and for pets to explore the Welsh countryside!
