Rowan Cottage
Black Mountains & Brecon Beacons
Perched in a truly wonderful location on the Llangattock Hillside, the views from Rowan Cottage are breath taking! Dating back to 1580, it's hard to imagine the generations that have stood in the same unique cottage admiring the stunning vista of the Black Mountains....none of which will have enjoyed quite so much comfort!
Restored by the current owners, romance and decadence are very much at the forefront of the design. A fabulous modern wood burner, with a traditional Aga, highlight the tasteful juxtaposition of the very new with the seriously old! There are thick stone cottage walls, exposed oak beams, flat screen television, DVD and iPOD dock, as well as one of the best romantic bedrooms in our cottage collection.
The oak spiral staircase leads from the cosy sitting room, up to a luxurious love nest, complete with king-size bed, marshmallow duvet and a fantastic modern bathroom, making lazing in bed totally guilt free!
Should you grow tired of shutting yourself away from the world, 55,000 acres of common land is right outside your front door, with numerous walking and cycling trails. The Brecon & Monmouth Canal is at the bottom of the hill, perfect for a gentle stroll into nearby Crickhowell for the morning newspaper and a delicious latte in Number 18, our favorite local coffee shop.
Romance, luxury and relaxation are guaranteed in this fabulous holiday cottage!
