The view will stop you in your tracks as you turn into the lane towards the property (we drove into the hedge the first time we saw it)! The Brecon Beacons highest peaks stand majestically in-front of you, seemingly shouting "Welcome to Wales" as you trundle down the lane.
The property itself has been lovingly restored from an old gardeners cottage to one of the prettiest Bothies in the country! Oozing charm and tranquility, it is a winning combination of a truly beautiful cottage and a spectacular location for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park and all it has to offer.
Step through the front door into a superbly equipped kitchen, off-set by subtle Farrow & Ball shades, with every modern comfort considered. Granite worktops and underfloor heating, it's even colour co-ordinated right down to the toaster and kettle!
Moving through the restored arched door into the main living space, the garden theme continues. Delicate shades of green off-set more muted tones, with Laura Ashley sofa, a warm wool rug, wood burning stove and a generous stack of local books and design inspiration...gardening books too!
The dining table extends to make it as perfect for six as it is for two, with elegant Eames chairs adding a dash of style to every meal. French windows lead out to the second outside terrace area, with bistro table and evening sunshine.
Upstairs is dedicated to sumptuous snoozing, two bedrooms housing a super-king sleigh bed in the master bedroom and two beautiful brass and white painted twin beds in the twin. The wet room is pretty special too, with a few funky lights adding to the fun and romance of the shower and thoughtful touches, such as dressing gowns and slippers awaiting.
Genuinely gorgeous, relaxation is just a drive away.
