Beautifully restored property brimming with features and even boasts its own castle wall, perfect for a romantic getaway
We love this hip new hide away in the hills! From the moment you step through the door you're struck by the meticulous attention to detail, the exquisite design vibe and the deeply luxurious 5 star finish, it immediately feels like home.
Exposed beams, a 14th Century castellated archway and flagstone floors juxtapose the chic, contemporary finish. Step directly in to the open plan kitchen and living space, beautifully designed, with high ceilings and large arched glass doors, even the fruit in the bowl was colour co-ordinated when we arrived!
The kitchen is fabulous, sleek units, a stunning granite work surface and all the gadgets you could need to rustle up a romantic meal or two...although being on the edge of a small village, the decent local pub is also within walking distance should you prefer to let someone else do the cooking.
The sitting room looks out across the garden, which is fully enclosed for pets with a pretty terrace and Kettler garden furniture, perfect for dining alfresco. Relaxing is very high on the agenda inside, with the large wood burning stove, Smart TV & Blu-Ray player as well as Wi-Fi and a large comfortable sofa.
Upstairs, this property is dedicated to decadence, with enormous super-king size bed, divine en-suite bathroom, dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries by Noble Isle, taking inspiration from the best of boutique hotel stays.
In a fabulous location, there is heaps on offer, from walking and cycling from the door for all levels of fitness to gentle browsing in book lined Hay on Wye and nearby Brecon. As well as sampling some great country pubs all in easy reach.
