This converted chapel is a magical abode in which to relax, enjoy sundowner BBQs and lively games nights. Tufty pawed guests are also welcome, so leave no one behind and embrace the adventures which surround you.

Marvel at the grand exterior of this fabulous property and climb stairs to the first floor where the heart of the home awaits. This open-plan living space perfectly flows from lounge to diner to kitchen, maximising the large space and welcoming you to curl up; challenge guests to a game or flick the kettle on for a warming brew. Room for all-hands-on-deck means mealtimes are light work - dining alfresco is the perfect way to spend a summer’s evening and you can sizzle up a storm on the BBQ provided. The wood burner throws heat into the room and is a sure-fire favourite with furry guests. Switch on the fancy sound and light system to liven up an evening and turn on the Wii for some competitive fun. The ground floor is home to delightful bedrooms where dreaming comes easy and you can roll out of bed and soak in the free-standing tub to kick start your day.

Layer up, pack up a picnic and head to the coast for a day full of sand, sea and surf. New Quay is 19 miles from home and has a gorgeous harbour where you can settle down for a bite to eat. Hop on a boat trip and head out to spot some dolphins and other sea life. The local village of Llechryd is home to a handful of tasty eateries and is a quaint rural village worth the short wander at less than half a mile from your door.

Brilliant accommodation, really well thought out and an amazing base to explore Cardigan and the wider area. Our son particularly enjoyed the Lego boxes and games. The kitchen had everything you would need and it is decorated to a very high standard. All in all, a stunning conversion, would highly recommend and would definitely return!

We had a wonderfull holiday! We stayed there for 2 weeks without 6 adults and 2 large dogs. The house is definitely big enough! The garden is also big enough. It is a very good location to explore that part of Wales. We would certainly recommend Flambards Hotel Sear & Sizzle nearby to have a very nice meal!

What a fantastic, special place. So much lovely art to look at, lots of books to read and the best equipped kitchen in a holiday let l I have seen. Tranquil, peaceful location but only minutes from the shops and cafes of Cardigan. Sad to leave.

Fabulous conversation of the old chapel to a modern spacious well equipped holiday house. You could not have asked for more. Large fully enclosed garden for the dog which was perfect. Food and water bowls provided which was a nice touch. For us the village itself was a little too remote and quiet, no cafe or pub and the hotel / restaurant never seeRead moremed open. There was a small shop which was well equipped and an excellent fish and chip shop. Lovely views from the sitting area across the river. Hide

Really good time in this super converted property - what a labour of love! Facilities all as described plus views of the highland cattle to the front and down to the river at the back. Would recommend the Flambards Hotel for evening meals - their 'sear & sizzle' plates are great fun - we went three times. I would highly recommend a stay at Chapel Tabernacle! The renovation of the property is beautiful was a fantastically stocked kitchen, unfloor heating & all the amenities you need. The property is VERY dog friendly providing bowls, an enclosed garden, dog blankets & some treats. We had a lovely stay & would not hesitate to book again.

Lovely place to stay in a great location for walks and beaches. We didn't eat out much, the facilities in the kitchen were impressive, plenty of everything and to be honest we were too pooped after all the walking to do anything but chill out in the evenings but there are some great pubs for eating in all around. As you will see in other reviews Chapel Tabernacle is a wonderful space and that is the real joy of the building. The chapel is very well equipped much better than the average rental so don't go lugging lots of cooking equipment as we did for Christmas. The kitchen has everything you need. Emma and Matt provided a 10' decorated Christmas tree a mosRead moret unexpected benefit. We also brought a large box of games completely unnecessary as there was so much there already including a Wii. Hide
