Beautiful stone cottage with original features in Llwyngwril village. Treat your loved one to a romantic retreat in the Welsh coast and Snowdonia National Park. The pub, shop and beach are close by.

Bursting with character, this quaint cottage is a perfect space for rest and relaxation close to the coast. With adventure right on your doorstep, you can explore the tranquil pebbled beach of Llwyngwril, wander the picturesque coast path or climb the heights of Cader Idris during your stay, all whilst leaving the car at home.

The heart of this home is the cosy living room, with a sumptuous sofa perfect for two placed in front of a warming wood burner and a TV. Original features such as flagstone flooring and exposed stone make for a charming space, with a table for two placed underneath a tall window for an intimate mealtime setting. Next door, the kitchen is compact, featuring everything you’ll need to cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner during your stay, with cleverly designed cupboards to maximise the space. The double bedroom is tastefully decorated to ensure you feel instantly at home whilst an additional single bedroom completes the sleeping arrangements. Completing the property is the bathroom with subtle nods to the coastal location in the decor and a relaxing shower where you can wash away the sand from your days at the beach before crawling into bed for a good night’s sleep. Just outside the front door are a patio table and chairs where you can sit and sip your morning coffee gazing over the gorgeous views.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Snowdonia National Park on the Dolgoch waterfall walk (9 miles), an easy trail with hidden gems to see along the way, including the magnificent waterfall itself. For a memorable day out by the coast, make your way to the sandy shores of Aberdyfi (12 miles) and take your pick from an array of boat trips, and water sporting opportunities or simply sit back and soak in the sights, sounds and scents that characterise this beautiful location. When the sun begins to sink into the water, take a short walk to the village to find yourself a romantic spot to dine out and indulge in fine local foods.

Great setting, convenient to the village and a short walk up the hill to the National Park. Stunning views along the coast. The Cambrian Railway is a good way to travel and see the coast. Character property, nicely decorated and comfortable.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped. Everything you could need is provided. The cottage is up a hill, on a narrow lane. There is no parking and you can only stop outside to drop things and hope no one else is on the lane while you load/ unload. There is parking in 2 places in the little village. There is also a friendly pub at the bottom of the laneRead more. Hide
