Detached former police station less than 100 metres from the sandy beach and harbour, pubs a short walk away, restaurants, shops and coastal trails galore. Tenby and other attractions are close by.

Set right in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Saundersfoot, this “home from home” has charm, character and a surprisingly spacious interior. You can see the sea from your doorstep and Saundersfoot beach is a short walk away and retains an expansive pet friendly area. The village has a vibrant harbour and a host of shops, pubs and eateries making this a fantastic year-round holiday destination, ideal for families, walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Tenby with its cobbled streets and golden sands is a short distance by car. There is a plethora of attractions within a short drive including Manor House Wildlife Park, Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park. Nearby Manorbier, Carew and Pembroke also offer stunning castles.

Enter via the main hallway where you will find a good-sized king-size bedroom to the left, with the first of many filled bookcases within the property. Following onto the right and into a large dining room, with seating comfortably for six and an ornamental fireplaces. Leading off the dining room you will find a shower room with shower and WC and kitchen. The kitchen has an Aga, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, this then opens into a sunny conservatory, the perfect place to relax in with a good book. Stairs from the dining room lead to the first floor, where you will find the lounge with TV/DVD and nice views of the village. There are two further bedrooms, a king-size zip-and-link and a master bedroom with king-size four-poster bed and en-suite shower and WC.

To complete the property there is an additional bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Outside from the conservatory is a small courtyard, ideal for storing surf boards. Two parking tickets for local car park a few hundred metres away.

The house needs a deep clean and a handyman to fix a few things but is a lovely house otherwise. In a great location. The pub next door was noisy on the bank holiday and weekend but not past closing time.

A delightfully quirky cottage in a fabulous location for the centre of Saundersfoot. Very comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms add to the experience for a multi-family group. The cottage has all the amenities you need and offers lots of space.

This is a lovely house in the centre of the village and, as advertised, is very close to the beach. No need to bring your own reading materials - there are books everywhere in the cottage! The owner's communication is very helpful and personalised. Saundersfoot is wonderful - beach, ice cream, shops, arcade, friendly people! So close to amenities, Read moreit isn't always quiet - our group aged 8 to 80+ enjoyed being in the bustle and the pub musician practically on the doorstep. Some people might not. Hide

A great location in one of our favourite places. Quirky house with interesting history and features. Parking tricky if you like getting out and about but fine if you plan not to move the car. Didnt mind the noise from the pub-they were friendly when we visited. Ideally situated in a delightful seaside town. The cottage contains everything that you will need on a self catering holiday. We enjoyed every minute, with no cause for complaint ! Parked up on the Regency car park (400yards) and left the car there all week.

We had a lovely stay thank you. Fantastic to be so close to the beach. Parking was a bit troublesome at busy times but we found the free spaces near the primary school which helped short-term when the car park was full.

Although in an ideal location in the centre of town the pub next door can have bands on until 11pm and they work from early in the morning emptying bottles and rolling barrels so not great if you want to sleep. The cottage is in need of a upgrade throughout and although charming in parts its a throwback to decades gone by and would benefit from it Read morebeing brought up to date. Amazing location! Right in the middle of Saundersfoot and very close to the beach. Beautiful cottage! Very rustic and lots of charm. Parking was fine thought it may have been an issue but as long as you avoid moving car at peak times its good. May need to bring your ear plugs of you go to bed before 11 when the pub shuts as occasionally people can Read morebe noisy but most nights it wasn't much of an issue. We stayed in the Old Cottage in June 2021. The location is superb. It is next to the Royal Oak and takes about 3 minutes to walk to the beach. There are 3 double bedrooms and each has their own bathroom, which is fantastic. In the main bedroom is a four poster bed, which is very grand. Fabulous location. Restaurants in village are excellent. Booking essential as some are booked weeks/months in advance. The cottage is full of character.
