This is a wonderful house, it felt like it was an honour to be able to be part of its wonderful history. We stayed in early February but the house was warm and welcoming, plenty of room for a large family and children. The hot tub was appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Castle! Beautiful house and surrounding area. Great facilities, and we loved the hot tub. Really lovely touches like homemade Welsh cakes on arrival too. We had a wonderful stay. Nine of us met to use it as a writing retreat, and self catered. The kitchen was a joy - everything was provided. The property was warm, spotlessly clean, and beds and sofas were comfortable. The hot tub was a highlight of the stay. This is a very nice place indeed and we have no complaints. Pretty much all the rooms are great, the property is well maintained, tastefully decorated, and is well equipped. Absolutely gorgeous home from home. Couldnt have wished for a better venue for my big birthday. Suzanne was really helpful and left us Welsh cakes, wine and chocolates. Very spoilt. Spectacular views, hot tub is a dream and the sound of birds made it extra special. The Roast Ox on Sunday for lunch was outstanding.

We stayed at The Castle this week, there were 16 of us in total, the house had plenty of space and never felt over crowed, everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, which is tucked away. The hosts were really helpful, replied back to messages very quickly. The views were amazing. I would definitely recommend this cottage

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting. Very well appointed with all you could possibly need. We had a wonderful family long weekend celebrating a big birthday. Great pub in easy walking distance too. The hot tub also went down very well. My grandaughter, aged 8, wanted to move in.

We loved our stayed! The accommodation was perfect and it was exactly what we wanted for our weekend. The owners were very thoughtful and provided us with a welcome hamper, also put a basket of toys out for the babies and we couldnt ask for much more! We will definitely stay here again and couldnt recommend it enough!

We were a group of 14 adults who stayed at the castle. We couldnt have asked for a better stay. The owner Suzanne was very good on comms and responded to any questions i had prior to arrival. What a wonderful property. Beautifully decorated, excellently equipped. Enough essentials to get started - tea/coffee etc. Worked well for parents, children and grandchildren (9 months to 74 years). The property has everything you need, from the extra towels for the hot tub which was well used.Logs, charcoal,fire lighters and matches for the fire pit and bbq.A Lovely welcome pack and cakes.There was plenty of games and books for the younger children.The castle ruins behind the house was great for exploring including meeting the sheep.When you Read morego out you do have to travel A bit but wasn't a problem.the roast ox in the village well worth a visit food was excellent.
