Commanding, beautiful scenery surrounds this lovingly converted barn accommodation. Happily hosting four guests, the cottage lends itself perfectly to any small family or tight-knit group of friends. Adrenaline-seeking adventurers will find so much to do within close reach, including a world of activities on offer in the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Those who prefer to spend their hard-earned holidays kicking back and conserving their energy, however, will no doubt love staying home to make use of the hot tub and curl up by the warming wood burner. Whatever it is that fills your days with excitement, there’s always space here to come together and savour cosy nights in as night falls.

A place where character meets comfort, step inside to find traditional high ceilings and authentic beams alongside up-to-date design features including underfloor heating to add a little touch of luxury. In the lounge, sofas and armchairs are thoughtfully positioned around a wood burner and TV, as well as a magnificent set of French doors offering exceptional views of the surrounding valley. From here, venture out into one of two outdoor spaces, a fully enclosed terrace with furniture. The second outdoor area, at the front of the property, boasts a wonderful hot tub. Sink into the bubbles and stare up at the night skies before venturing back in for bed, discovering a king-size and a double just upstairs.

With North Wales' iconic national park accessible within 10 miles, you can set off and find hiking routes, mountain biking trails, wild swimming spots and so much more, close by. Perhaps venture to nearby Adventure Parc (4 miles) where those looking for adventure can try their hands on an inland surf lagoon or in the inflatable aquapark. Those who prefer to keep activities casual will adore a trip to the World Heritage Site of Conwy (4.5 miles), a beautiful medieval town that’s simply steeped in history.

Family of 4. Had a wonderful time. So many little places to explore. Even in the rain the view is stunning. My children loved the track/road up the mountain to the cottage. Not suitable for very large vehicles...but such an adventure. People are so kind and welcoming. We loved it.
