Escape to this idyllic romantic retreat for two. Nestled amongst the hills of the Herefordshire countryside, this beautiful shepherd’s hut is the ideal place for couples to relax and unwind together. Immerse yourselves in rural tranquillity with endless walks from your doorstep or whilst soaking in your private hot tub under the stars. You’ll never tire of the unbridled views, and there’s a pub and shop within 3 miles and the city of Hereford is only 5 miles away, with its range of independent shops/eateries.
Wandering along the path to the traditionally-built shepherd’s hut, you will feel your shoulders relax and the stresses of everyday life ebb away. Located in a paddock on 200 acres of farmland, this little corner of Herefordshire is perfect for an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Immaculately finished with country cottage décor, the hut has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is compact, but well-equipped; the double bed is cosy; the wood burner will keep you warm on colder evenings; and the separate shower room is spacious and contemporary. Completing the accommodation is a hot tub, with a shelter, and beautiful outdoor seating carved from tree trunks.
A haven for outdoor enthusiasts, Herefordshire has a range of activities available such as walking, mountain biking, canoeing and horse riding. Walkers can follow nearby Offa’s Dyke, a 177-mile trail following the dramatic scenery of the English/Welsh border, with some breathtaking panoramic views. Herefordshire is home to part of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the town of Ross-on-Wye and picturesque Symonds Yat both within 13 miles. You also have the Shropshire Hills AONB, Malvern Hills AONB and the Brecon Beacons National Park all within reach for day trips.
