Unforgettable holiday home with far-reaching views of Wales’ dramatic mountains and walks both long and short on your very doorstep.

Have fun with a party of friends or family members when you book a group break at this impressive former barn, 2 miles from the market town of Brecon, within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Up to 10 guests can stay at the five-bedroom property, which also welcomes one canine companion. Discover picturesque beauty spots by heading out on long walks from the holiday property or simply relax at home together, soaking up the sunshine in the garden or looking out towards the mountains from the comfort of the house.

Wander into this Brecon Beacons country house, which dates back to the 1700s, and leave your outwear in the utility room, with its washing machine and tumble dryer, before making your way into the kitchen. Cook hearty breakfasts in here to set everyone up for the day and gather together at the table for celebratory meals. Spend your evenings in the conservatory, gazing out at the magnificent vistas, or in the lounge, where you can stoke up the wood burner, play games together, watch TV or a DVD, or listen to music on the hi-fi. A twin bedroom, a shower room with WC and another WC are also at this level. Climb the stairs to find a king-size and three double bedrooms, together with the family bathroom and a shower room. Dine outside and relax in the sunshine in the enclosed garden whenever you have the opportunity. There is bicycle storage and plenty of parking at this property.

Spend your afternoons browsing in charming independent shops or market stalls in Brecon. Discover there is a good choice of cafes, pubs and restaurants here too. Drive 6 miles to Llangorse to take part in water sports or horse riding. Go hill walking in your surroundings: climb Pen-y-Fan, 6 miles, from home.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay - clean, warm, cosy, log fire, incredible view of the Brecon Beacons. Walks accessible from the cottage front door but equally very accessible and close to Brecon.
