Enjoying a secluded location just a few miles from the market town of Brecon, this magnificent country cottage provides spacious, light and airy accommodation for up to 12 guests. Surrounded by countryside, with a stream running through the garden, this picturesque holiday home is perfect for a larger family or a group of friends exploring the northern part of the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Beautifully updated and tastefully decorated, the property features original exposed beams, a warming wood burner, a bubbling hot tub and glorious views across the Usk Valley.

The cottage offers a delightful lounge, perfect for sitting back at the end of the day, watching a movie, listening to music or chatting into the night. The fresh and elegant dining room is ideal for sharing a celebratory family meal which you can enjoy preparing in the stylishly designed and well-equipped kitchen. Moving upstairs, there are six light and stylish bedrooms on the upper floors (four with en-suite facilities), each named after a Welsh peak: four king-size rooms (one with a freestanding roll-top bath in the room itself) and two super-king-size rooms. There’s a family bathroom on this level as well as a ground-floor shower room. Heading outside, the south-facing garden is a charming suntrap, complemented by a patio, BBQ, plenty of outdoor furniture and a soothing hot tub.

A couple of miles from the tranquil village of Cradoc and its popular golf club, the cottage is a great location for exploring the northern fringes of the Brecon Beacons. There are wonderful walks right from the door, with local landmarks including the sites of the Iron Age fort of Pen y Crug and the Roman fort of Brecon Gaer (both within 2 miles). The thriving market town of Brecon (3 miles) has plenty of great pubs and restaurants to relax in.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here with my family and friends. It was absolutely every we could have hoped for. All the bedrooms are big with super comfy beds, and sooo many bathrooms! The kitchen, living room, and dining room were perfect for 12 people - not too crowded but not too big. And there is a hot tub that was already heated for our arrivaRead morel for an extra bonus!! The cottage was perfect. Every detail was considered and the location is better than any property we have stayed in before. Special thanks goes to Adrian who looked after us completely; nothing was too much trouble. Safe to say we had a fantastic holiday in Gludy and will absolutely book again.

This is a large house a couple of miles from Brecon, tucked down a narrow lane. The house is well equipped and very comfortable with a large kitchen, dining room and sitting room (with a great wood burner in it). The views of the mountains from the kitchen and back garden are spectacular. If you're not driving, you'll need a taxi or nominated driveRead morer to get you to pubs and restaurants but overall a great place to stay for a large group. We'd certainly stay again. Hide
