Situated beneath limestone crags, the bustling village of Llangattock is known for its cave systems and is perfect for walkers following the Table Mountain Path or the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. The picturesque town of Crickhowell is just a mile away and has plenty of friendly pubs, restaurants and shops as well as the remains of the medieval Crickhowell Castle. Other local attractions and landmarks include Tretower Court and Castle (3.5 miles), Llangorse Lake (11 miles) and Talybont Reservoir (11.5 miles).
