The picturesque town of Crickhowell is just a mile away and has plenty of friendly pubs, restaurants and shops as well as the remains of the medieval Crickhowell Castle. Other local attractions and landmarks include Tretower Court and Castle (3.5 miles), Llangorse Lake (11 miles) and Talybont Reservoir (11.5 miles).
