This romantic bolthole nestles peacefully in a rural village location with local amenities in walking distance. Perfect for couples looking to explore the Black Mountain region and beyond.

This pretty cottage is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Talgarth where you can venture into the remote and rugged wilderness without even getting in your car. From your front door, you can walk to cascading waterfalls, through rolling valleys and meadows, and ascend some of the mighty peaks the Black Mountains have to offer. The small market town of Talgarth is home to Bronllys Castle and Talgarth Mill along with several local shops and pubs where you can sample the local produce. Brecon (9 miles) is a thriving market town that lies on the north parameter of the Brecon Beacons National Park, a mecca for the adrenaline junkies amongst you looking for thrills and adventure!

 

Entering this quaint and cosy cottage, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere which makes you feel instantly at home. Situated on one level, the cottage has beautiful oak flooring throughout to complement its rustic style. The lounge/kitchen/dining area with TV/DVD is wonderfully fresh and bright with countryside views and patio doors leading out to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge whilst a handy utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and plenty of room to remove muddy boots. Further along the hallway are the pretty double bedroom and delightful bathroom with a separate shower and free-standing claw-foot bath, perfect for soaking away those stresses and strains.

 

An attractive enclosed garden with lawn and patio area provides a charming place to sit and admire the glorious surrounding views. Prepare a romantic meal for two and dine alfresco under the night sky.There is ample parking at the property.

Basically this is a very good holiday venue for 2 people, with access to fine scenery just a few miles away.
