Offering a romantic getaway for a couple, or a welcoming bolthole for a lone traveller, the cottage is attached to the owner’s property and is perfectly positioned for keen walkers, climbers, horse riders and nature lovers exploring the northern reaches of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Entering this delightful property, which is situated on the farmyard’s courtyard, the inviting lounge/diner features exposed brickwork and ceiling beams, and makes for a wonderful space to unwind in. Featuring a traditional wood burner, polished wooden floors, comfortable seating and SkyTV/DVD, the lounge is a perfect space to snuggle up and chat into the night. There’s also a welcoming dining area, perfect for enjoying a meal which you can cook in the stylish and fully equipped kitchen. Ascending very steep paddle-style oak steps, the cosy king-size bedroom has low sloping ceilings and far-reaching views towards the Black Mountains. Great location on a working farm. The single road that leads to it (about 2 miles) can be tricky with not many passing places should you come across another vehicle. The enclosed garden is excellent for a dog. As in previous reviews the steps up to the bedroom can be tricky, I also recommend coming down backwards like a ladder.
