Or you can head into Abergavenny, known for its annual food festival, farmers’ markets and Norman castle. There are plenty of opportunities to get active in this part of the world as you can go walking, mountain biking, pony trekking and climbing in the national park. Also nearby is the hillside setting of the Brecon and Monmouthshire canal with beautiful views.
