Treat yourselves to a stay at the very heart of the market town of Brecon, at the northern tip of the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park. Sleeping four guests, and also welcoming one four-legged friend with open paws, the two-bedroom cottage is ideal for anyone seeking that perfect balance of convenience and countryside beauty. Enjoy being close to shops, cafes and restaurants, while also being surrounded by fabulous places to walk, climb and indulge in other outdoor activities. Discover historic sights, stroll beside lakes and rivers and go canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Wander into this two-storey, stone holiday home to find yourselves in the characterful lounge, with its revealed stonework, where you can watch TV together in the evenings or perhaps unwind with your book. Challenge each other to a game of pool, make a fresh cup of coffee in the machine in the kitchen then decide whose turn it is to cook. Find the kitchen/diner has all the equipment you could require for preparing meals, plus a table for jolly, holiday dinners together. Also on the ground floor, is a WC. Climb the stairs to find the family bathroom, together with a super-king-size bedroom, which that can be arranged as twins if discussed in advance, and a king-size room. Dine out in the courtyard garden as often as the weather permits and find there is space to store your cycles securely while you are here. The cottage comes with parking for one car.

Wander the streets of the market town, browsing in its interesting shops. Take time out to see the cathedral, stroll beside the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and even take a barge out on the water. Drive 7 miles to Llangorse Lake to enjoy a 3-mile, circular walk and to try a variety of water sports.

Beautiful place to stay. Home away from home. Everything you could want was provided and lovely welcome treats. It was luxury. Very close to the town centre which has lovely places to eat and drink. Secure parking. Great area for dog walking, and unlike other places, there is a hose outside to wash the dog down. This holiday home was perfect.

Cute cottage in a great location both for exploring Brecon and wider. The kitchen is well equipped with everything including a food processor and while small, the separate living space made it a very comfortable holiday. Excellent communication with the owners and the EV charging was so useful!

This is a great place to stay and comfortably accommodated our part of four adults. We really appreciated being right in the middle of the town as this gave us many good options when the rain came!
