We chose this property for a quiet getaway and we werent disappointed. There was no noise except sheep and birds and such a pretty spot to relax in. The property is wonderfully equipped with everything you need and a perfect size for us and our two dogs. The owners are lovely and on hand if you need them. We enjoyed our stay. Its a bit off the beaten track which is what we enjoy. The trundle down the 400m track from the lane was worth it to find a beautifully restored barn with lovely countryside views. Needless to say it was super peaceful with only bird song, sheep and horses for company.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped barn conversion in a quiet and rural setting close to many attractions including Aberystwyth (short 15 min drive). Would definitely recommend or stay here again.

The barn was well equipped and in a very quiet location which we loved. It was very clean and Jonathon the owner was on hand to show us the workings of everything, also gave us information on walks and locations. The barn is located down a long track which having a 4/4 was a benefit, in saying that driven carefully any vehicle should be ok. Our recent 3 night stay in Wagtail Barn was fantastic! We loved the quiet location which was still only a short drive to Aberystwyth. The barn was such a wonderful place, which we couldnt fault in any way. The hosts were so welcoming and couldnt do enough for make our stay perfect!

We loved our stay, very clean with just about all home comforts supplied. If it wasnt as far for us to travel we would certainly return. Beautiful location and a great base to explore from and return to. The barn was well equipped with everything we needed. The barn itself is really well equipped, with everything you need for a peaceful holiday. There is a induction hob and oven, dishwasher, instant boiling water tap, wifi etc. Jonathan was very welcoming on arrival and explained how everything works. Wagtail Barn is a lovely place to get away from it all. It's clean, really comfortable and has everything you need, inc a 'welcome pack' of butter, milk etc, to have a fantastic holiday. Fantastic stay and the location is perfect as only 15 mins max away from Aberystwyth. The log burner is brilliant. Quooker tap is very convenient to have. Excellent Spacex Starlink Wi-Fi with fantastic download and upload speeds and worked for my whole stay. HD channels on the tv. Very silent and peaceful at night with owls twit twooing.
