Elevated above Aberdovey’s bustling streets with inspiring views of the estuary, this impressive apartment is ideal for families or couples looking to enjoy a seaside break.

Set within a row of Aberdovey’s iconic pastel-coloured properties, this apartment provides the perfect base for families and couples looking for a traditional Welsh seaside holiday. The scenic village, where the mountains meet the sea, has a 3-mile sandy beach, and also offers a wide range of water sports. Situated at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, you also don’t have to venture far to find mountain tracks and jaw-dropping views. After a day at the beach, return to your cosy apartment with some pysgod a sglodion (aka fish and chips) to enjoy at the dining table overlooking the water.

The homely first-floor apartment is reached via a set of internal stairs. Once inside, discover a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The space is decorated in neutral tones, combining period features with contemporary accessories. This sociable space is great for spending quality time together, cooking in the kitchen, enjoying movie nights on the sofa, or sharing a delicious meal whilst watching the boats bobbing past in the distance. Cottage-style stairs take you to the upper floor, where a delightful double bedroom and a relaxing twin are located. There is no outdoor space, but you are perfectly placed to enjoy morning walks on the beach and there is also a public green outside the property, with benches looking out to sea.

If you can tear yourself away from the charm of Aberdovey, there are some fabulous day trips to enjoy along the Ceredigion coast. Heading north, you’ll soon reach Fairbourne (16 miles). This popular seaside resort has a glorious beach backed by a pebble ridge, and is surrounded by stunning mountains and woodlands. From here, you can take the ferry to the chic resort of Barmouth, where you’ll find an excellent range of independent restaurants and a stunning harbour.

Everything you require is at hand. A lovely comfortable apartment with everything you require right to hand. Lovely view of the harbour with all the busy fishing boats. Really comfortable and highly recommended. We will definitely be back again soon

This is a lovely apartment with sea views and close to all the amenities of Aberdovey. The location was fantastic for a relaxed holiday where we could wander and explore, and of course go crabbing. Lots of nice places to eat, beach walks and hill walks if you are feeling adventurous. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Just be aware thRead moree stairs are steep. We cant wait to come back. Our dog enjoyed it too. Hide

We loved The Crabbers Rest. For us the location is perfect (although the ice cream shop queues could be very noisy at times). A very welcoming home from home feel to the place. Our second time staying here and hopefully will not be the last.

We have just had a wonderful few nights at Crabbers Rest and it was perfect! Right on the sea front, next to a handy shop and waffle/ ice cream/coffee house. Everything you could need is in the house - crabbing gear, wind break, parasol, clothes horse, well equipped kitchen, books for the kids... just fantastic! There is a bit of noise from the roaRead mored in the front bedroom (double) but that's the price you pay such convenience and a great location. The beach itself is beautiful, so clean! Hide

Beautiful and clean flat. Small and compact but plenty of room for the 3 of us. Wonderful location overlooking the harbour. Would definitely recommend but you need a car to get to places.
