Located in a lovely spot just over the road from the beautiful seafront and set over three levels, this light, fresh and inviting townhouse makes a fantastic holiday retreat for families and friends.

While away hours at a time absorbing the splendid seascapes from this waterside holiday home in Aberdyfi in Snowdonia. Positioned right on the front, looking out over the River Dyfi’s estuary, the impressive and elegant, three-storey property sleeps eight guests and also welcomes two canine companions. With four bedrooms and a small courtyard garden, the airy abode makes a great base for a coastal break, with opportunities for forays into the breathtaking national park.

Open the door, wander down the hall and take a step up into the dining room, with its gorgeous bay window and stunning coastal vistas. Dine in here against the scenic backdrop after whipping up delicious meals with local produce from the Aberdyfi coast. There is also a dishwasher and a washing machine in the kitchen, as well as a shower room downstairs. Make your way up to the first floor to the lounge, where there are additional picturesque views, as well as a TV and a DVD player. A WC and the family bathroom are also at this level, together with a twin bedroom. Another twin and two doubles are on the floor above. Return from days on the beach to unwind in the sea air of the courtyard garden over a cup of tea. The property comes with a permit to park one car in village car parks; the closest is 400 metres away.

Pack a picnic and stroll 40 metres down to Aberdyfi’s golden beach. This part of the coast is popular for sailing and surfing. Book a fishing trip out along the estuary or on the open sea. Keen walkers might like to hike 4.5 miles along the coast to Tywyn, gazing out over Bae Ceredigion as they go in the hope of seeing dolphins.

One of the best positions in Aberdovey! Good size and layout. The two bottle of wine, that welcomed us, was a thoughtful touch. We will stay again!
