Property code: DY020

Slightly elevated above the Dyfi Estuary, this three-storey cottage will appeal to avid explorers and gentle amblers alike with a whole host of activities available from your doorstep.

Take your morning coffee out into the sunshine in front of this Welsh holiday home and watch the sailing boats drift across the Dyfi Estuary. Sleeping four guests, and also welcoming one dog, this two-bedroom property enjoys a commanding position in the North Wales coastal village of Aberdyfi. Find yourselves less than 700 metres from the gorgeous sandy beach, which stretches 4.5 miles as far as Tywyn. Located in the southern section of Snowdonia, the three-storey cottage is also in a superb position for families seeking to be able to head out into the national park.

Step into this Aberdyfi cottage and find a warm welcome and comfortable accommodation. Soak up the coastal views from the beamed lounge/diner, where you can also catch up on your favourite programmes on TV, play games together and enjoy meals at the table. Find the kitchen area, with everything you need to whip up tasty food with your own ingredients, to the rear of this area. Discover you even have a dishwasher, so no-one has to roll their sleeves up after dinner. Follow the stairs up to another lounge, with TV/DVD and another incredible outlook. Also on the first floor, is the family bathroom. Climb another set of steep, cottage-style stairs up to two bedrooms, each with a small, 4-foot double bed. Sit out on the bench in front of the house on fine days. A permit for one car to park less than 350 metres away in the car park at Nantiesyn or by the beach comes with the cottage.

Get close to nature during your stay. Enjoy walks beside the picturesque estuary. Visit the Dyfi Osprey Project, 14 miles away, or RSPB Ynis-hir, 16 miles from the cottage. Ynyslas National Nature Reserve, 20 miles away, is also worth visiting for its magnificent sand dunes.

Beautiful little cottage with amazing views, perfect for a small family, or couples. steep stairs so if you have little ones a stair gate is essential. Parking is with a short walk, along with the nearest railway platform. Too many hikes to mention, so if you love hiking the hills and mountains then this is a perfect base.

Lovely little cosy cottage, well equipped and great location. Also, has the benefit of amazing views over the estuary, which seem to change by the hour. In addition Id also like to say how helpful Paul, the property manager was in our hour of need (not cottage related), he went over and above to help us, which we really appreciated.
