Traditional, seaside bungalow set in the popular coastal village of Saundersfoot. Accommodation all on one level and fantastic garden space to be enjoyed with the family.

The cottage enjoys a peaceful location, just 300 metres from Saundersfoot’s harbour and beach. Sleeping four guests, the bungalow makes a delightful couples’ retreat or base for a small family seeking a traditional seaside getaway. Spend your days building sandcastles on the beach, exploring the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or visiting nearby Tenby (3 miles). In the evening, dine alfresco in your pretty garden or retreat to the loft room to admire the sea views.

The bungalow is decorated in crisp blues and whites and a gentle beach theme runs throughout the property. The open-plan lounge/diner is the ideal place to spend quality time together, sharing memorable mealtimes around the dining table or playing boardgames. In summer months, throw open the patio doors and let a gentle breeze ripple through the property. The stylish kitchen has everything you need to whip up a tasty meal, and there is also a handy utility room. When it’s time to say ‘nos da’, retire to the inviting double bedroom or cosy twin. The property has a bathroom and shower room and on the first floor is a snuggly loft room with a TV and sea views. Outside, discover a mature garden with outdoor furniture, where you can switch off and recharge in the Welsh sunshine.

Saundersfoot has a fantastic sandy beach, so grab your towels, buckets, and spades and head down to the shore for a day at the seaside. With its shallow waters, the beach is particularly popular with bathers, and it’s also a great spot for canoeing or paddleboarding. As the sun sets, head into the village to dine in one of the many restaurants serving tasty Pembrokeshire produce. There are some excellent family attractions nearby, including Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo and the Dinosaur Park (both within 5 miles).

We absolutely loved our stay at Portsea. It was a little rough-around-the-edges - which isn't a negative thing, it added to the comfort - we wouldn't have been able to relax as much, had the house been immaculate. The house was so comfortable and homely and we were able to settle immediately. The location is perfect, near enough to stroll down to tRead morehe town, yet far away enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. We had the most wonderful little holiday. Big thank you to the owners and to Zoe. Hide
