Mortimers Croft is a tranquil haven, we stayed for a weekend and we really enjoyed every minute from relaxing in the hot tub to taking a local walk. We went to Hay on Wye which is well worth a visit. Highly recommend is The Riverside Inn which is a walk though the woods or a short drive away. The cottage guide was all round helpful.

Lovely little cottage in a remote area. New, well equipped and host was very welcoming. Weather was a bit hit and miss but we managed a short spell in the jacuzzi which was very relaxing. Great walking trails on the doorstep, lovely views, horses in the surrounding fields but sadly no private garden area surrounding the cottage so our dog had to beRead more restrained while outside. The hosts have everything else covered, outdoor dog wash and doggy towels, welcome pack, washing line, robes and slippers. Hide

Beautiful converted holiday accommodation, stylish as well as practical. In the most perfect location especially if you have a dog as walks right from the accommodation instead of having to use car. Peaceful and idyllic well away from any roads.

We had a three night break and it really was a refreshing and relaxing break. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and welcoming. We made use of the hot tub after long rambling walks straight out from the cottage - we didn't move the car once. Lots of varied countryside to amble around in and the proximity to NT's Croft Castle is excellent. FivRead moree stars from us. Hide
