The picturesque village of Talybont-on-Usk is only 0.5 miles away with its local stores, pubs, and eateries. The tranquil Talybont Reservoir offers gentle strolls around the water’s edge listening to the distant birdsong or enjoying the stunning cascades of the nearby Blaen-y-Glyn waterfalls (7.5 miles). Take to the water at Talybont-on-Usk with a kayak adventure along the river, or why not enjoy a nostalgic steam train ride through the stunning countryside at the Brecon Mountain Railway (10 miles)? The cathedral town of Brecon is well worth a visit with its quaint streets and independent stores. Visit the famous literary town of Hay-on-Wye (20 miles) and browse the bookstores before enjoying a ramble along the riverbank.

Enjoy the views across the valley before you step inside this beautiful lodge, finished to a high standard and perfect for groups wanting to get away and enjoy the countryside. The open-plan living space has been well configured, offering guests a cosy space to relax and unwind in front of the wood burner. For dining, there is a table and chairs and for the chef amongst you, there’s a bespoke kitchen that is well-equipped to offer an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with an ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. A generously sized double bedroom with garden views offers access to an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower and WC. The twin room enjoys valley views, and a king-size mezzanine bedroom is accessed from the lounge area. There is also a family bathroom with a bath, shower, and WC.

Outside, the garden has an open aspect within sympathetically landscaped grounds. There is a hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the dark skies, as well as a table and chairs for dining and a BBQ. There is guest parking for two cars within the on-site car park.
