This delightful cottage with hunter lodge interior is located just a few metres from Overton Cliff Nature Reserve and the magnificent Gower Peninsula walking trails. Perfect for nature enthusiasts.

Soothe your spirits in this coastal getaway near Port Eynon. Couples and families alike will enjoy its rustic elegance, beautiful views and choice of nearby walks.

Escape into the holiday experience in this chic cottage, where period features complement modern comforts. On the ground floor, decorated in calming, muted tones and natural textures, the country-style kitchen is perfectly equipped for whizzing up tasty meals. On the same level you’ll find an exquisite shower room, while the handy WC is set one step down, as is the lounge/diner – a cosy space with planked walls, chunky beams and a wood-burner-effect electric fire for that warming glow. You won’t be able to resist the impressive views of the Gower Peninsula from the windows of this room. Find the secret door and take the cottage-style, wooden stairs (they are steep and uneven, but there’s a hand rail) to the first floor, where you’ll find two beautifully decorated double bedrooms, sharing a Jack-and-Jill-style WC. The sweet courtyard outside is a lovely place to dine al fresco, enjoying sunshine and fresh air while planning tomorrow’s activities.

Less than half a mile from the cottage you can find yourself on one of the UK’s prettiest coastal paths, while all around are Gower’s walking trails. The charming village of Port Eynon, with its sweeping, sandy beach, is around a mile away. Take a body board and enjoy the waves, or head over to Llangennith, Gower’s big surf beach, 7 miles, with your surfing gear. Explore Gower’s other beaches, too, including Rhossili Beach, Oxwich Bay, Three Cliffs Bay and Caswell Bay, all within 15 miles, or enjoy for a day in the city at cosmopolitan Mumbles, 13.5 miles (don’t forget to try the world-famous ice cream), or Swansea, 16 miles.

Attractive period cottage, very well equipped with tasteful decoration throughout, smart TV, and also lots of board games and cards. The stair are very steep ( not really clear from the photo) It is a pity that the courtyard area is very small and also it would be useful to have somewhere to dry wet coats etc when the weather is bad. The lane outsidRead moree is lovely and peaceful and leads directly to lots of fabulous walking. We had a very pleasant stay here. Limited access to food shops nearby. Hide

Milan Cottage is a beautiful old cottage in a very quiet and remote spot. As its so remote there is little to no mobile phone signal and also the WIFI is not 100% reliable, the owners are wonderful and truthful about this. If you are looking for a complete escape this is perfect.

Great location and generally nice cottage. Comfort was fine but a couple of improvements could be made, though internet/mobile signal strength issues may not be easily overcome.
