Immerse yourself in the Cambrian Mountains which surround this lovely bolthole offering a feast for all the senses with easy access to both the coast and the countryside. Spend your days listening to the sounds of the waves crashing against the sand at Cardigan Bay (10 miles) or watching birds swoop through the Cors Caron Nature Reserve (10 miles) and you’ll be enchanted by the area, wishing to return to this charming cottage year after year.

Approaching the front door, you’ll feel instantly at home with a pretty patio seating area to one side of the front door providing a place to sit and soak up the natural beauty of this peaceful location. Stepping inside, you’re welcomed by the warming, open-plan living space, which is full of character from the wooden ceilings to the rich red leather sofa and armchair. Here you can cuddle up as two and spend the evening watching a film or delving into a new holiday read. On the other side of the room through an exposed stone doorway, you’ll find the kitchen which is quaint yet perfectly equipped for you to cook up a feast during your stay with natural light pouring in through the skylight window. A small dining table in the main living area provides a place to sit whilst you share stories and make plans for the days ahead. Completing the ground floor is a modern shower room where you can refresh after a long day of adventures. Upstairs, the bedroom features beautiful, exposed beams, stone walls and wooden flooring creating a charming aesthetic where you can rest your head for a good night’s sleep. A wardrobe, dresser and chair ensure you’ll have plenty of space to unpack your belongings and treat it as a home-from-home.

Visit the wetland area of the Cors Caron Nature Reserve (10 miles) which covers more than 2,000 acres of land where you can hear birdsong overhead, watch the wildlife in the rare, raised bogs and breathe in the fresh air of this truly majestic location. Those who love to be beside the sea should visit Cardigan Bay (10 miles) to discover the rich heritage, awe-inspiring coastal walking paths and to catch a glimpse of the resident bottle-nosed dolphins.

Lovely secluded cottage. Extremely comfortable and immaculately presented. Friendly welcoming owners who provided plenty of helpful information on area and places to visit. Our dog was made very welcome with her own bag of goodies.

Absolutely perfect cottage for us, the owners made us & our dogs feel very welcome and the cottage was incredibly well kept and comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle of modern day life and immerse yourself in the tranquility of rural Wales.

Excellent stay in a fantastic location with lovely hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Accommodation was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The welcoming and extras for the dogs was appreciated. Very relaxing location, nice walks, great for a good rest.
