Immerse yourselves in the beautiful North Wales countryside and spend some quality time with your significant other. This delightful, one-bedroom retreat, close to Llanfairtalhaiarn and 5 miles from Abergele and the coast, sleeps two guests and sits in magnificent surroundings. Enjoy long walks from the doorstep, treat yourselves to afternoons by the sea and head off on day trips into the Snowdonia National Park, 13 miles away.

Open the door to this stone retreat that was originally a barn and has been beautifully and tastefully converted. Discover beamed ceilings, understated interiors and rooms that offer you both a warm welcome. Head through to the lounge to watch the Smart TV, read your books or even challenge each other to a game of table football. Unpack any fresh provisions you have bought on your excursions to towns and villages in the kitchen/diner then prepare fine feasts to sit down to together. As night falls, climb the stairs up to your king-size bedroom, which comes complete with a Smart TV for slow mornings in bed. There is also a gorgeous bathroom, with a double shower and free-standing bath, up here. Soak up the fresh air and the sunshine in the garden on spring and summer days. Cook supper on the BBQ and have a glass of chilled wine as the sun goes down.

While away your mornings pottering in Abergele or in Denbigh, 6 miles away, which also has a good selection of shops, as well as eateries. Stroll out along the Wales Coast Path, perhaps venturing 7 miles to Rhos-on-Sea, and plan trips into Snowdonia to go hiking, caving and climbing. Conwy, 13 miles away, is a lovely place to spend time for those who enjoy visiting castles, while Llandudno is ideal for those seeking a traditional Welsh seaside town experience.

Very comfortable and welcoming cottage. Lots of space for 2 people but cozy and warm too. Rural (which we like) but not far from the coast and interesting places to visit and to eat out - although the cottage is well equipped for cooking. Definitely recommend a stay here, so relaxing.

Very comfortable, well equipped with quality furniture and accessories. Fantastic quiet rural setting in a stunning location with lovely country walks from the front door. Rough track access not suited to vehicles with very low ground clearance. Welcome "goodies" on arrival.

We had a wonderful week here. Scrupulously clean and spacious. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is situated in the picturesque countryside; all you can hear are birds. The only reason I didn't give 5 is due to the bed being a bit soft (that's personal taste but I suffer with back issues) and I would have loved a recliner Read moresofa. Obviously these are personal preferences- the cottage was amazing and I highly recommend. Hide
