The Brecon Beacons National Park lies to the west with its many lakes, waterfalls and caves to discover, as well as its endless routes/trails for walkers and cyclists. For something different, the bustling market town of Abergavenny is 6 miles away, with other towns such as Crickhowell and Raglan, famous for its castle, within 12 miles. To take to the water, head to Goytre Wharf (7 miles) where you can enjoy a number of activities on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
