A wonderful property. Very private, it also sits in a beautifully looked after and fully fenced-off area. Inside there were great modcons - dishwasher, faux fireplace inc remote controlled heating, Netflix/YouTube/smart tv, light up mirror in bathroom. Lots of soft furnishings made it very cosy for the few wet eves we had. It's 10 mins drive to eveRead morerything you need in Abergavenny too - small town but really quite modern, we visited more than once. The owner was also very helpful & friendly Hide

We needed peace and quiet and thats what we got. Absolutely beautiful place. The cabin was very comfortable clean with high end appliances. We had everything we needed and loved waking up to the sound of nature surrounded by sheep and cows and beautiful views of the countryside. A place to relax and unwind. We will be booking again for next year

This was a wonderful find! The lodge is secluded with plenty of outside space and views of fields and hills in all directions. The inside was immaculate and had all of the essentials - including marshmallows for the fire pit which was a lovely touch. I would absolutely recommend a stay at 'A Night Under The Old Oak'.
