What a beautifully presented, thoughtfully equipped and decorated shepherds hut. The location and views and idyllic - loved my brief vacation with my little dog (whose needs had also been carefully thought about).

Had a lovely relaxing stay at Shepherds Rest! The hut is clean and well equipped and the view is beautiful. The owners are friendly but unobtrusive and provided some much appreciated welcome treats. Would highly recommend for a restful break to recharge the batteries.

Amazing place for a relaxing break. The view from the hut is stunning. The hut was clean, tastefully furnished and will equipped with utensils. Outside is a lovely sitting area complete with firepit and BBQ. We needed somewhere to go that was comfy and relaxing. This was definitely it.

I would defiantly recommend taking wellies, the fields make for some lovely peaceful walks and the dog absolutely loved it but there are no walk ways ( cut grass verges) so the long grass and cow poo cannot be avoided. Take a sponge for washing up!

Absolutely delightful - a real find, and something very different. If you want a true rural retreat only 3 miles from a lovely town, this is it. The views are beautifully relaxing. The shower and toilet are surprisingly spacious and in no way primitive, and the woodburner is easy to light and manage; there is also an effective convector heater. A lovely and cosy place to stay, with amazing views and entertaining sheep and donkeys! Lots of lovely walks around and Ludlow is very close by. The hut was kitted out with everything we needed (had to take a couple of things, salt/pepper/oil etc because of Covid) and the log burner was super warm when it was a rainy and chilly evening! This was an incredible experience. A rural shepherds hut looking over rolling countryside. Watch the sun set and then light the log burner for a cosy night. Great that there is a shower too. Loved every second. Venessa and Robert were very welcoming.

The Shepherds hut was fabulous looked exactly like the pictures and had been decorated up all Christmassy.
