Stay in this perfect family property, with a cosy wood burner for those cooler evenings, and is only a short drive to the coast with beautiful beaches to explore and plenty of walking opportunities.

Tucked away in a wooded valley in the Welsh countryside, this beautiful property offers families the chance to escape their hectic pace of life. Occupying a secluded position, there are plenty of picturesque walks from your doorstep, allowing you to immerse yourselves in rural tranquillity. Despite its remote location, you’re only 5.5 miles from the coastal town of Aberporth, where you’ll find a pub, some shops and two sandy beaches.

Sympathetically restored with exposed stone walls and beams throughout, you’ll soon feel at home in this light and airy property. Original features and unique pieces of furniture add charm and character, whilst neutral tones and stylish accents bring it into the 21st century. The country kitchen is large and well-equipped for all your needs, and the lounge/diner is spacious, yet cosy, with a wood burner for cooler evenings. The four bedrooms are immaculately presented, some of which have vaulted ceilings, while the two bathrooms are delightful, and one includes a pink roll-top bath. To the rear of the property, there is a large patio for al fresco dining. From here, you can explore the garden and woodland below.

With plenty of walks/cycle rides from your doorstep, you’ll be able to explore the natural beauty of the Welsh countryside on two feet or two wheels. If you prefer the coast, the ancient town of Cardigan, the ‘gateway to the Teifi Valley and the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire Coastal Paths’, is only 6.5 miles away. Both Cardigan Bay and the Pembrokeshire National Park have stunning and safe beaches to explore as well as a range of seaside towns/villages such as New Quay and Aberaeron (within 20 miles). Here you’ll find a selection of shops and eateries offering local crafts and delicacies.

We had a lovely Easter break here. The cottage is very welcoming & has everything you need in order for it feel like home from home. The location is a little remote so you need a car to travel into Aberporth & Llangrannog, not far away. Both are worth a visit. The cottage is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and the heating came on for 3Read more hrs in the morning & 3 in the evening. This is also complimented with a wood burner. There are games there for adults and children, so plenty to do. Hide

The cottage is very cosy, plenty of room downstairs for 7 people. The bedroom with the two single beds is bit small but was ok for us.

A lovely and comfortable place nicely tugged away - the lack of wifi and network coverage could be a real blessing!

A lovely cottage in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. As long as you dont mind a lack of wifi and limited mobile reception you will enjoy the remote feel to the place. The owners were also most helpful, particularly as a mobile phone was left behind, however this was quickly returned to us in the post, for which we were most grateRead moreful. Hide

Really pretty cottage, nicely decorated. Lot of kitchen equipment and very clean. The location is convenient, 10 mins to the beach. You do need to drive everywhere though and not the best phone signal. I would definitely stay again.
