Stunning romantic retreat with wood burner, hot tub and panoramic countryside views. Idyllic location close to Ruthin and Mold. Perfect base to explore the countryside and rugged coast of North Wales.

Soak up the glorious views out across North Wales from this tranquil retreat 1.5 miles from the market town of Ruthin. Luxuriate in your own hot tub or bask in the glow of the wood burner as you relax at the one-bedroom, timber abode. Sleeping two guests, the charming property is simply perfect for a couple seeking a romantic escape and the opportunity to discover this scenic part of the world on foot or by bicycle.

Enter this individual holiday, which is on the owners’ grounds but enjoys privacy. Find space for your walking boots and jackets in the utility room then wander through to the kitchen to make a cup of fresh coffee or pour a glass of wine. Find everything you need in here too to help you whip up a tasty dinner with the fresh produce you have sourced on your excursions. Head through to the lounge/diner to plan your evening’s viewing on the Smart TV and to gaze out across your picturesque surroundings through the great glass doors. Pull these open during the warmer months or stoke up the wood burner when it’s cold. As night falls, climb the stairs to the comfortable, king-size bedroom with its en-suite shower room and TV. On fine days, have breakfast out in the fresh air; fire up the hot tub after trips out and cook supper on the BBQ. You’ll find parking for two cars and storage for cycles and other equipment at the holiday home.

Drive approximately 11.5 miles to discover the town of Mold, tucked under the Clwydian Hills, where you can go walking. Shop for local produce in the famous market here and go to the museum. Or, venture approximately 18 miles to picnic on the beach at Rhyl or Kinmel Bay.
