Detached romantic retreat with hot tub, perfect for a couple to explore Snowdonia National Park’s coast, countryside and culture. Enjoy this lovely coastal location with local pub, shop and beach walking distance.

Whisk your loved one away for a romantic retreat just 1 mile from the coast. With plenty of memories to be made, breathe in the fresh sea air on a golden sandy beach, enjoy a moment’s peace on a paddleboard, feel the adrenaline rush as you mountain bike through a forest or marvel at the breathtaking elevated views as you take on the highest mountain in Southern Snowdonia. After memorable days, return to this cosy bolthole for a delicious BBQ, a quiet night in or a soothing soak in the hot tub.

After long and tiring days spent exploring the coast and countryside, this single-storey bolthole is the perfect place to call home. Rustle up romantic meals for two in the sleek kitchen, equipped with everything you could need, before dining with a view of the garden. Afterwards, sink into the sofa to enjoy a quiet night of TV or movies with your beloved. A stylish bathroom is the perfect place to soothe tired muscles after a long walk, while the sumptuous king-size bedroom will ensure a restful night’s sleep ahead of another busy day. In the mornings, dine alfresco in the tranquil garden while listening to the beautiful morning chorus from the surrounding trees.

With so much to see and do in the area, this is a great location for keen adventurers and explorers. Just 4.5 miles away, the seaside holiday resort of Barmouth boasts a picturesque harbour, a sand and shingle beach and spectacular views of Cardigan Bay. Meanwhile in Harlech (7 miles), find Edward I’s Grade I-listed castle and a host of activities from fishing to swimming, rock climbing, cycling and paddleboarding. Once you’ve discovered the coastline, it’s time to head inland and deeper into Snowdonia National Park, choosing either to take on Snowdon (25 miles) on foot, enjoy a scenic ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway (34 miles) or step back in time at the National Slate Museum (35 miles).

A peaceful, comfortable and warm place to stay. Equipped with everything you could want in a stunning location with the river and woods leading up to the incredibly beautiful hills. Doggy heaven. The pub less than a minute walk away through the wood also. Barmouth less than 10 minutes away. The owners were lovely and very helpful when I needed a tiRead morec remover for the dog! If I said I didn't want to leave that should say it all. If you're lucky enough to go, enjoy. Hide
