Romantic log cabin in the Welsh countryside with wood burner, countryside views and walks from the door.
Steal away to this rural retreat at a fantastic log cabin, staying here with your nearest and dearest. Complete with authentic wooden panelling and a warm and welcoming wood burner indoors, this traditional cabin offers an authentic countryside getaway filled with walks, outdoor adventure and cosy nights in. Lovingly prepared to host your next romantic getaway, this accommodation happily sleeps two guests with the use of a pretty double bedroom. However, should you be travelling with younger children in tow, a second bedroom with custom made, child-sized bunkbeds increase the capacity of the cabin to four. You can even bring along your family dog to take part in all the fun!
On arrival you’re first met by a beautiful, decked veranda, complete with furniture for enjoying the great outdoors and far-reaching country views that are best soaked up with a glass of wine in hand. Step inside to find an open-plan living space for colder evenings where shelter is needed. Throw a log or two on the wood burner and curl up on cushy sofas, switching on the TV or getting stuck into a great book. Whilst the kitchen may be small, it’s been equipped with everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast or light evening meal. Sit down together at the dining table in the window before venturing down the corridor to bed.
The property is located on the outskirts of Machynlleth (1.5 miles), a picturesque Welsh market town on the southern brink of the Snowdonia National Park. This town is teeming with artists and creative vigour. Spot sculptures in the MOMA Machynlleth or plan your stay to align with the famous annual comedy festival. Cross over the Dfyi Bridge (2.5 miles) to explore the National Park itself, discover the Dfyi Valley with mountain biking, hiking or even bird spotting excursions.
