Beautiful farmhouse with enclosed garden, hot tub and games room. Perfect for families and four-legged friends to enjoy the local countryside, mountains and varied attractions in and around North Wales and Cheshire.

Light the wood burner, bubble in the hot tub and enjoy the natural beauty of the scenic surroundings at this three-bedroom former farmhouse in North Wales. Situated in the village of Gwynfryn, 12 miles from Llangollen and 6 miles from Wrexham, the attractive stone property sleeps six guests and also welcomes a pair of their four-legged friends. It sits in beautiful gardens overlooking the undulating countryside and is well-positioned for visiting the colourful towns and villages of the area, as well as following walking and cycling trails.

Wander inside the period house to find beautifully renovated accommodation, which still presents an abundance of character. Head into the kitchen to prepare hearty feasts. There’s also a separate utility room, with a low entrance, and a WC. Take two steps down to the dining room. Relax in the lounge together, with its gorgeous, exposed stone fireplace. Plan your evening’s viewing on the Smart TV and bask in the glow of the wood burner. Take a cup of tea into the conservatory to enjoy the outlook. Make your way up to the first floor to either of the two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, or the twin. Find the family bathroom up here too. Enjoy the outdoor living afforded by the farmhouse; fire up the hot tub and cook supper on the BBQ. Challenge members of your party to a game of table tennis in the games room. There is a secure space for your bikes and plenty of parking.

Stroll just 1 mile to see the beautiful Minera Quarry site, with its plethora of wildlife. Head 3.5 miles to Llandegla to go walking, cycling and mountain biking from the forest centre there. Or, walk beside the river and through the woodland at Alyn Waters Country Park, 5.5 miles away.
