With great walking from the door, located just above the Brecon Beacons National Park, there's lots of choice. There are cycle routes too for both mountain bikes and road cyclists, with bike hire available in Brecon and Hay on Wye. There is a local soft play centre just outside Brecon, encase of a rainy day with under 8's and Brecon has a small independent cinema too. Sennybridge is the closest town, best for the basics, head to Brecon for a proper Welsh town, complete with Cathedral, Regimental museum, cinema and mountaineering shops. Hay on Wye is a favourite, with heaps of independent stores and cafes. Explore the popular Dan yr Ogof caves nearby, or Big Pit for a cultural adventure, both of which are a great family day out. On the ground floor, 1 twin with en-suite shower and WC. Lounge: with woodburner, TV, DVD and access to the outside deck, on the first floor. Kitchen/diner: With electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: terrace area to the side, with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Regret no smoking. WALK THE HILLS : Great walking from the door, located just above the Brecon Beacons National Park, there's lots of choice. As well as the main peaks of the Beacons, including Pen Y Fan, South Wales highest peak, the Epynt Way has just undergone a huge restoration with miles of walking very close by.
PEDAL THE PATHWAYS: There are cycle routes too for both mountain bikes and road cyclists, with bike hire available in Brecon and Hay on Wye, even Vespa hire available in Glasbury! Further into the National Park, the Visitor Centre often has star gazing events, as well as being a great place to plan a walk from.
ACTIVITIES WITH KIDS: There is pony trekking for all ages at adventure centre, Cantref, near Brecon with exceptional riding trails up into the National Park. They have an animal petting and small soft play area too, for small children. The Play Barn is a local soft play centre just outside Brecon, incase of a rainy day with under 8's and Brecon has a small independant cinema too. The National Showcave Centre for Wales in the heart of the Park, complete with dinosaur park and inpressive underground caves. Craig-y-Nos Country Park is also a lovely family day out.
FEAST & FAYRE: The Felin Fach Griffin, is a great country pub on the road from Brecon to Hay, recently named "Best Pub in Wales, dogs are welcome in the bar area and it's one of our favourites, well worth a trip!

RELAXING: Large open plan sitting room with wood burning stove, tv, dvd, wi-fi, two large leather sofas in Lower Barn. Upper Barn has an upstairs sitting room with wood burning stove and sofas.
DINING: A farmhouse dining table generously seating 8 in Lower Barn. Upper Barn has a table for 6 - 8, plus each barn has a farmhouse kitchen table.
KITCHEN: Two well equipped Shaker style kitchens with electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, cafetiere.
KEEPING CLEAN: Four en-suite bathrooms, two with a bath and two with a shower. Washing machine in each barn. Iron and ironing board available.
OUTSIDE: The barn is detached, there is a large parking area and terrace area to the side, with barbeque, outdoor furniture, hot tub, childrens play frame and additional play area for older children with table tennis and a pool table.
CAR CHARGING : There are two 7KW ChargeMaster ports on site, available at an additional charge payable to the owner directly.
