We really enjoyed our stay at Canal Boat college . The facilities were great and well thought through with the welcome pack giving a really special touch to our stay. Location is beautiful with fantastic views and although a steep walk to the village itself, we found some lovely places to eat whilst there .

A very pleasant location on a quiet canal side. Cottage facilities overall excellent. Pretty walking countryside surrounds, with easy access to Abergavenny for Thursday artisan markets. Do hire a day boat from local canal boat hire place. For a relaxing time go along the canal in dappled sunshine listening to birdsong. Take along the cottages hampeRead morer (filled with your own goodies) to moor up for lunch, a true Wind in the Willows experience! Looking forwards to visiting the area again soon. Hide

Very comfortable cottage in a fantastic location next to the pretty canal and lovely small town of Crickhowell on the edge of the Beacons. Even our teenagers were happy!

Warm, comfortable, spacious, clean and magnificent views of Table top and Sugar Loaf. Weather needs improving, lot of hail and snow about, precipitation of some kind almost constant. Walking amazing, the canal outside the front door gives you 32 miles of flatness!
