A beautiful traditional cottage nestled away in the romantic Welsh valley with unbelievable views to sit and enjoy in the garden area. Enjoy the spectacular finish of the property with the original farm house features.

Come for romance, wildlife and walks, leave revived, refreshed and inspired.

Nestled away in a wildly romantic Welsh valley, set between the adventure training mecca of Betws-y-Coed & the craft centric town of Ruthin, this cosy Welsh cottage offers peace and respite within a beautifully curated interior, perfect for couples who love walking in the wild beauty of the mountains. Brenig Lake is 15 minutes from the cottage. There is a scenic cycling ride around the Brenig reservoir. The Brenig Trail circumnavigates Llyn Brenig suitable for both family cycling and for walking at 9.5 miles (15 km) long. Also the Llyn Brenig Reservoir & Visitor Centre with a cafe overlooking the lake. Surf Snowdonia - A perfect fresh-water lagoon, 300 metres long, set in the lush, green Conwy Valley in the lee of the Snowdonia mountains.

Pull yourself away from the views on arrival and step through the cheery red front door into a cottage clearly cherished by its owners. Lovingly restored with great attention to detail, the style is deeply relaxing, authentically Welsh and subtly filled with vintage finds, contemporary local craft and thoughtful touches to ensure your every comfort.

The kitchen is well equipped, with great views from the window.  There's a proper farmhouse table, perfect for long lazy suppers, or simply spreading out the OS Map to plan the next days adventure. Next door you'll find the living room with log burning stove and French windows looking out across the valley -  Naturally the cottage is complete with TV, DVD and Wi-Fi (use restricted to email and browsing), as well as a collection of holiday reads and traditional games.

Upstairs there is a large front bedroom with beautiful views across the valley, the super king-size bed is perfect for couples, or can be split into twin beds upon request. Served by a lovely bathroom with more of the view, this time best enjoyed from the bath tub! There is a further king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room too, making the cottage suitable for two couples sharing, or simply offering luxurious space for one couple who want to relax in the privacy of their own company.  Each bedroom comes complete with bedding and towels.

The cottage has a generous garden with comfortable seating to soak up country life and take in the views. Listen to the gentle bleating of neighbouring sheep, watch the odd tractor pass by and spot the occasional Red Kite over head - a truly wonderful cottage, which we hope you love as much as we do.

Last Minute Loveliness: Enjoy 4 nights mid-week for the same price as a 3 night weekend, all January long...well worth taking a break away from work!  Price already adjusted online.

Lovely cottage and very quirky. Great location, very remote. Bed was super comfy. Only a few minor things that we found. No tea and coffee on arrival. The rubbish had not been emptied from previous guests. No dog towels and hand wash bottles all empty. As said these were only minor things and we would definitely book again.

very rural and picturesque cottage is quirky and comfortable. You have to travel a bit to get to supermarkets or petrol stations but we werent in a rush so it didnt matter. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we like.

Just returned from the hottest week ever in Wales. I'm so glad we spent it there. Not only was the weather excellent but so too was the cottage and the hosts. There was an issue with the water supply for a day or two (not the fault of the owners !) but Alwyn and his son both checked in on us a few times and provided plenty of bottled drinking waterRead more and even a cooling fan. Cottage - excellent, location - excellent, hosts - excellent. Want a relaxing break away from it all... go there Hide

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location! We had 3 days of gorgeous sunshine and being able to eat breakfast outside with that view was amazing. Comfortable bed and great shower. Only regret is that I didnt get to use the bath! Great location for exploring snowdonia, and lovely walks on the doorstep.

Absolutely loved our first visit to Wales. The cottage was lovely, had everything we needed and is just beautiful. We couldnt get the heating to come on the first night but a quick call to Sion and he came and sorted it out and also checked on it the following day. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful break in a beautiful location.

An idyllic location, with plenty of space for a cottage. We loved the log fire, bath and outdoor space and the beds were really comfortable. Both bathrooms were modern and had powerful showers. The outdoor space is perfect with the beautiful view. We really recommend caving whilst youre there near Betwys Coed, and eating in Ruthin at Small Plates.
