Set in the idyllic Welsh countryside with stunning views across the village, fields, woodlands and mountains. Join the plethora of footpaths to explore the nearby walking or biking trails. Take the short walk down to the River Towy and where you can fish for trout and salmon; the Towy Valley is also home to an incredible variety of wildlife and birds. The pretty market town of Llandovery, with some interesting cafes and pubs, a few boutique-style shops, antique shops, and a Heritage Centre is 2 miles away. Visit Aberglasney House, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and the romantic Carreg Cennen Castle or try the National Trust’s Dinefwr and go underground on their Dolaucothi Gold Mine tours.

With all the living space and bedrooms on the upper floor, climb the stone and slate staircase to be surrounded by beautifully restored 17th-century features in this quirky barn conversion. Oak beams, oak floors and original stonework all serve to retain the character, complemented by modern comforts to create comfortable and welcoming accommodation throughout. The kitchen has a built-in electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, whilst the utility area on the ground floor has a chest freezer and a washer/dryer. The living room has truly glorious pastoral views over meadows with grazing cattle to the River Towy and the winding valley beyond. Settle down on the comfortable leather sofas and chairs to relax with a film or enjoy a home-cooked meal at the dining table. The double bedroom has an en-suite with a shower, there is a twin bedroom and separate bathroom with shower over bath.

As the day draws to a close, head down to your own, private hot tub, sheltered under a wooden gazebo with its own bar and stools. Dine alfresco with a BBQ as you watch the red kites soar above you and look out for the particularly rare little ringed plover - a sighting of this creature being the perfect end to the day.

This is a really delightful cottage with lovely owners. We stayed for a week and did not want to leave! The location is good for exploring beautiful parts of Wales, there's a town with a supermarket and decent cafe up the road, there are wonderful views of the river and fields, and there's the incredible hot tub! We loved watching the sunset from tRead morehere with a glass of wine. So relaxing (& romantic). The cottage is to a very high standard (including good showers) and has everything you need. Hide

We had a great time. The scenery is amazing and the owners are so welcoming. Our boys loved watching the farm activities and enjoyed talking to Alan about what he does. I can't reccomend this place enough. We had the best holiday and we were sad to leave. The hot tub was amazing to just sit there and appreciate the views in front.

Absolutely perfect, ideal for a quiet relaxing time away. Private, cosy and comfortable we had awful weather but chilling in a steaming hot tub, with the most beautiful back drop, stunning and tranquility at its best...
