A perfect base for explorers and adventurers. Hike, cycle, or horse ride around the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park which boasts some of the most magical landscapes including mountains, caves, lakes, and waterfalls. Explore some of Wales’s heritage at what was formerly the deepest anthracite coal mine in the world, Cefn Coed Colliery Museum (3 miles) or the South Wales Miners Museum (16 miles). After all that adventure, make sure you enjoy some downtime with a day at the beach and there’s plenty to choose from along the Swansea coastline (16 miles). The city of Swansea offers an abundance of shops, restaurants, and bars, as does the local market town of Ystradgynlais (2 miles).

As you enter this charming property, you first discover a bright and spacious living area with two comfortable armchairs, a soft and cosy sofa, and a Smart TV for streaming your favourite shows. This is a great space to hang out together, relax after a busy day of adventures or sit with your morning coffee enjoying a good read. Upstairs, you will find two charming and characterful Welsh cottage bedrooms. The master bedroom is situated at the rear of the property and has a king-size bed and wardrobe. At the front of the property with its exposed stone walls is a delightful twin room, with two comfortable, full-size single beds. The shower room with WC is located on the lower-ground floor beneath the living area and is fitted with a large, modern double-headed shower. Also located on this floor is a dining room with a small TV, ideal for family mealtimes or playing some board games.

The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge, and freezer. The kitchen door leads out to the enclosed rear garden. There is a storage shed for keeping two bikes and beach equipment safe. The garden itself has stone chippings, lawn, seating, and a charcoal BBQ. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which gives access to a lane that leads onto a back road, allowing for easy access to take bikes and equipment to the car. There is roadside parking subject to availability at the front of the property and one designated off-road parking space to the rear of the property.
