My wife and I along with our son and his wife and their dog stayed at this property for a week. Have to say everyone had a brilliant stay. For us it was a perfect base to access the many walks in the area, some requiring a short drive but others on our doorstep. It's a working equestrian centre which didn't impact on our stay, our host was very appRead moreroachable and helpful. What we remember is how beautiful, quiet and peaceful the setting is. No light pollution at night, so very dark. Hope to return Hide

We had an amazing time at Dolley Farm Cottage and truly hope to return again in the future. It is off the beaten path somewhat, so maybe plan your shopping in advance(!) But if you are looking for a relaxed and beautiful setting, this is for you. We were able to unwind and our two girls (7 and 3) had an amazing time and were so sad to leave! The hoRead moret tub and gym were awesome and we appreciated the space hugely. Hide

A fantastic cottage with very warm helpful and welcoming hosts . The cottage is very comfortable with the modern equipment which made us feel at home . It is conveniently located to some beauty spots where you could do local trips . You could also not go anywhere and spend a relaxing day in the cottage .

We have stayed in many cottages over the years, this is one of the best for facilities, location/isolation and access to horses that are stabled very close by. The owners were very approachable and friendly. The hot tub a real bonus and didnt disappoint. The cottage overlooks a spectacular garden with plenty of colour and spacious lawns. We sat outRead moreside on most days. All in all we didnt feel the need to go out and about. Hide
