Enjoy a fabulous break in beautiful North Wales when you decide to stay in this contemporary lodge at Tyn-y-Groes, 4 miles from Conwy. The two-bedroom, single-storey property, which sleeps four guests and two delighted dogs, is one of five creatively designed holiday homes set within grounds of approximately 3 acres. Go walking, cycling or canoeing during your luxury break. Head out into the magnificent Snowdonia National Park to follow footpaths and cycle routes and treat yourselves to days out at the seaside along this northern stretch of the Welsh coast.

Step into this exquisite cabin and find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle down in here with your friends or family to watch TV, play games and simply enjoy the cool air coming in on a summer’s day through the open doors. Cook in here in the kitchen area and enjoy your meals together around the table, either inside or out on the patio. Head off to bed to choose between the double bedroom, with en-suite shower room, or the twin room. There is also a family bathroom. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner outside and light the BBQ on balmy evenings. There is parking at the lodge, as well as storage for bikes and other outdoor gear.

Head out to walk beside the River Conwy. Visit the National Trust’s beautiful Bodnant Garden near Tal-y-Cafn, which overlooks the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau Mountains and is 4 miles from the lodge. Spend time at the beach in Conwy, visit the impressive castle here too and go shopping. The splendid seaside resort of Llandudno, 7.5 miles away, is also a great place to spend time swimming in the sea and relaxing on the sand.

Really well equipped, really comfortable, had everything we needed for a home from home trip. Kids didn't want to leave. Our puppy loved the enclosed garden and the field. Ideal location, close enough to Conwy but far enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week here. Placed in an ideal location for exploring North Wales, we enjoyed beaches, walks, Llandudno pier, the great orme, gardens, castles, RSPB visit as well as lots of lovely food. We did, admittedly have a few lazy mornings in the lodge as it was so relaxing with pretty views. We even had a kestrel in the garden.Read more The beds were comfy, kitchen had everything... the kids even baked. The bathrobes were a nice touch and we made use of the many board games. Hide
