PERFECT FOR A HONEYMOON RETREAT FOR THE PERFECT ROMANTIC STAY

A small and peaceful retreat that is set on a working farm and is accessed via an easy stroll down a magical path and in to a beautiful woodland. This peaceful idyll offers a calm and luxurious shelter and is nestled under shady trees and bathed in dappled sunlight. It is cedar-clad and left natural on the outside, whilst on the inside this traditional shepherd’s hut is whitewashed and has a stable door painted in pale blue. Pretty matching window boxes complement every window and large terracotta pots welcome you on the doorstep, laden with daisies. The layout is open-plan and includes a kitchen/diner and a cosy sleeping area with shelving and storage.

There is comfortable fire-side seating with brightly coloured cushions on which to relax and keep toasty in front of the wood burner and the log basket will be full to the brim when you arrive. A two-burner gas hob is capable of whipping up a light supper and is neatly built into the chunky wooden work tops. To keep things chilled, a cold chest with ice packs is cleverly integrated and there is even space for a shower room with shower and WC inside.

Wake up with nature and enjoy breakfast overlooking the sheep in the field and the wildlife that surrounds you. A table and chairs on the stone terrace outside the hut is perfect for an alfresco breakfast and further down the garden is a fire pit with comfortable seating for chilled-out summer evenings. If all of this wasn’t enough to relax you horizontal, simply fire up the wood-fuelled hot tub, pop a cork and spill the time away under the stars.

There is off-road parking available for two cars and the property allows two dogs to stay with you at no additional charge.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Really lovely property in a stunning location. Recommended to anyone looking for a glamping experience with beautiful countryside and privacy. The owners were really helpful and very pleasant. It is compact, but the space is organised well. The wood fired hot tub was wonderful. Would stay there again!

We had a wonderful time. Michael and Candida are great hosts who are very friendly, helpful and considerate. It's a truly spectacular location and the cabin is wonderfully cosy and despite it's compact size, has everything you need for a lovely week away. Lying in the hot tub looking up at the trees and stars is a magical experience and I am sure tRead morehat we will be back before long! Hide
