The idyllic location of this pretty cottage offers peaceful views of rolling countryside within easy reach of a variety of activities. Families and couples alike will love its games room, wood burner and landscaped garden with a stream.

Traditional style blends with modern convenience in this charming cottage. The Shaker-style kitchen offers plenty of space to conjure up tasty meals, and the dining table is set next to windows that offer lovely rural views. After dinner you can either head to the table football in the games/utility room, relax with a book on the daybed in the first-floor library snug, or cwtch on the sofas in the lounge, where you can light the wood burner and stream your favourite movies on the Smart TV. You’ll find two bedrooms upstairs, one king-size and one double, sharing the property’s two bathrooms: one is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC, while the other – found on the ground floor – is a wet room with a shower. In the landscaped garden there’s a patio area with lounge furniture for relaxing in the sun and a gazebo with a dining table and chairs. Why not picnic by the babbling beck or pour a sundowner to enjoy on the bench in the front garden while taking in the gorgeous views?

The cottage is located close to plenty of walking trails and just 2.5 miles from Llyn Brenig lake, where you can hike, cycle, picnic, fish, eat and drink or simply admire the views. Drive 15.5 miles to the town of Betws-y-Coed, which has a magical, Alpine feel and boasts a range of shops, galleries and restaurants, or tour the market towns of Bala, Ruthin, Denbigh and Mold, all within 22 miles. The north coast, with its choice of beaches, is around 20 miles.

What an amazing place to stay. The cottage was very clean, very well equipped with everything you need and much more, and such great value for money. No expense was spared in making this a comfortable place to stay where you can just relax, or travel to see the beautiful location where it is situated. Would definitely return again.

Beautiful property, tastefully decorated and well equipped in stunning surroundings. Clearly the owner has thought of every detail. We had a wonderful stay. Worth heeding the warning about mobile reception, there was none on either of our networks.

Lovely stay, clean, with nice touches. A welcome basket was provided with a delicious cake. There is no mobile phone coverage, so we were unable to make or receive calls. WhatsApp works; however I was unable to receive text messages which I needed at times as verification codes for transactions. Sky TV is available, but not Sky Sports.
