Set on a working farm in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this fabulous eco-friendly canvas safari lodge offers unforgettable holiday accommodation for six guests. A perfect getaway for eager walkers, nature lovers and bikers, the lodge is located in beautiful countryside, and provides a fantastic glamping experience for a family or friends. The site also offers the chance to tour the farm, feed the chickens, or go swimming or boating on the lake in a neighbouring field. The lodge features a private hot tub and a fire pit, making it a soothing retreat after a day spent exploring the surrounding woodlands, streams and valleys.
Entering the property via the veranda steps, you will find the airy and welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring plenty of seating and a wood burner, the lounge is an ideal space to curl up at the end of the day and chat into the night. You can enjoy your favourite family meals either in the dining area undercover or on the veranda while admiring the surrounding views. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living area also has a double cabin bed contained in its own raised wooden unit and accessed via a short ladder. Toward the back of the lodge there are two bedrooms: a cosy double and a charming twin. Outside, the hot tub and fire pit are on the grassy area surrounding the lodge, with your private ‘Pitch Pod’ just a few metres away, containing the shower and WC.
The village of Talybont-on-Usk (0.5 miles) has some lovely local inns and shops, while the bustling market town of Brecon (7 miles) has plenty of great pubs and restaurants. Local attractions include Talybont Reservoir, Tretower Court and Castle, Llangorse Lake (both within 7 miles), and Pen y Fan (10 miles).
